The main airport serving Ghana is Kotoka International Airport which is located just outside of the center of Accra. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Ghana, the only airport handling direct flights from the UAE is Kotoka International Airport. Kotoka International Airport is a relatively large airport providing all of the essential amenities and services you would expect. Within the airport there are plenty of cafés and eateries available to satisfy your appetite, while you can also enjoy duty-free shopping during your stay. Once your flight has touched down at the airport, the easiest way to travel into the city is by taxi - the distance is relatively short so the trip will be affordable for most people.

In general, the northern area of Ghana experiences its rainy season between March and November, while in the south the rainy season begins in April and ends in November.
