Arriving In Havana
Jose Marti International Airport is the primary airport serving Cuba located just 15 km outside of Havana. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals and offers a decent selection of amenities and facilities to keep travelers happy. When your flight has touched down at the airport, it is possible to find bus services to reach the city, although you may prefer the convenience of a taxi instead. Inside the airport there are a few places to eat and drink alongside retail and duty-free shopping, while the airport also provides Wi-Fi for a fee if you need to get online.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Havana, there are no direct flights available so you will have to make a transfer. Fortunately, the airport has regular connections from many airports handling direct flights from the UAE, so you will easily be able to make the journey with only a single stopover.

In order to enter Cuba as a UAE national you can purchase a tourist card before your journey which is valid for a period of up to 30 days. In Havana the weather is warm throughout the year, with the hottest period falling between June and September with average highs of around 31 degrees. Although the easiest way to get around Havana is to rely on taxis, there are public bus services available if you would rather travel like the locals.
