The city of Murmansk, situated in the north of Russia alongside Kola Bay, is famous for being the largest city north of the Arctic Circle. Arriving In Murmansk
Murmansk Airport is situated around 25 km away from the city of Murmansk and primarily handles domestic flights around Russia. The airport itself is relatively small but still provides all of the essential facilities and services travelers would need. Once you have touched down at the airport, the most convenient way to get to your destination is to arrange a taxi, although there are public buses available if you are on a budget. Inside the airport there are a couple of places to eat and drink and you can also find shops to pick up any travel essentials you need.
