If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Palu you will not be able to make the trip nonstop as no airlines offer direct flights currently. However, it is possible to complete the journey with only a single transfer which makes things a lot more convenient.
Palu Airport recently opened up a brand-new passenger terminal in April 2017 so you can expect your stay at the airport to be pleasant and enjoyable with the modern facilities on offer. However, choices are rather limited at the airport so don’t expect many options when it comes to dining and shopping. When you have touched down at the airport, getting into the city is easy by taxi and is also affordable given the short distance involved.

Many nationals including those from the UAE are entitled to enter Indonesia visa free for up to 30 days. The weather in Palu is warm all year round with average highs of around 30 degrees, so you can expect plenty of warmth and sunshine. However, if you would rather visit when the climate is a little drier, sometime between December to April would be best. If you are coming from the UAE don’t forget to put your clocks forward by four hours to get on local time, while the currency used in Indonesia is the Indonesian rupiah.
