Fa’a’a International Airport is the main airport in Papeete and the primary international airport in French Polynesia located just 5 km from the capital. The airport primarily handles flights around the region but does have a few long-haul routes available. If you’re looking to book flights from the UAE to Papeete you won’t be able to find any direct flights, but the airport has a couple of connections from places with direct flights from the UAE, so you can make the trip with just one transfer.
