Domine Eduard Osok Airport is the main airport in West Papua located less than 5 km outside of Sorong. The airport is set within a single passenger terminal and provides a range of domestic and regional flights. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Sorong you will not be able to make the journey directly as there are no airlines offering direct flights. However, you will easily be able to transfer at Jakarta before continuing onward to Sorong.
Domine Eduard Osok Airport is a relatively small yet interesting airport offering all of the basic amenities and facilities you would need whether it’s somewhere to grab a bite to eat or a travel shop to pick up some last-minute essentials.
