Jose Marti International Airport is Cuba’s busiest airport, situated around 15 km from central Havana and set across three passenger terminals. Once you have landed at the airport there are bus services available to travel into the city, while taxis are readily available. You can also rent a car in Havana if you want to explore the island at your leisure. You’ll find a small range of amenities and facilities inside the airport to keep yourself occupied. There are a few cafés and eateries available for hungry travelers alongside duty-free shopping and a selection of retail and travel shops. If you need to access Wi-Fi during your stay at the airport you can connect to the airport Wi-Fi network for a fee.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is located just 5 km from central Dubai and is comprised of three passenger terminals. The airport is Dubai’s main airport and also the busiest in the UAE having handled over 88 million travelers in 2017. You can use public transport to reach the airport from Dubai either on the Dubai metro network or by bus, while extensive short- and long-term parking can be found on site for vehicle owners. Along with an excellent range of restaurants, cafés and fast food chains, the airport is home to many designer shops, duty-free products and souvenir stores to pick up anything you need. You will also find other amenities available including free Wi-Fi access, airport lounges and rest zones.
Al Maktoum International Airport is situated around 40 km from the center of Dubai. The airport has not yet been fully constructed and is planned to become the world’s busiest airport upon completion. There are public buses available from central Dubai running to the airport if you don’t want to pay for a private taxi. You can find all of the essentials you would need at the airport including duty-free and retail shopping as well as plenty of dining and drinking choices. Free Wi-Fi is also available so you can surf the web to keep yourself occupied.
