Once you have landed in Dubai you can conveniently make your way into the center of the city on the Dubai Metro which is linked to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 or find a taxi outside any terminal. Glasgow International Airport is the main airport serving Glasgow offering all of the amenities and services you could possibly need during your stay. The airport itself consists of two passenger terminals which each offer a wide selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, so you won’t be short on things to do whilst waiting for your flight. You can also enjoy other excellent facilities such as a children’s play area, complimentary Wi-Fi for one hour and a 24-hour supermarket to get all the essentials. The most popular way for travelers to reach the airport is on the Glasgow Shuttle bus network which runs to and from the city center.
What to Expect in Dubai
In Dubai temperatures are far hotter compared to those in Glasgow so remember to pack appropriately. If you want to visit when the climate is coolest then sometime between November and March would be the optimum period and there are plenty of hotel options in Dubai. Many nationals including those from the US and EU countries can enter the UAE and obtain a visa free of charge upon arriving in the UAE.
