Arriving In Acapulco

Acapulco International Airport is located around 25 km from Acapulco and handles around 700,000 passengers each year. The airport mostly serves domestic flights but does have a few international flights available, although you will not be able to find any direct flights from the UAE to Acapulco. However, it is possible to fly from the UAE to Acapulco with only a single stopover which makes the journey much more convenient.

At Acapulco International Airport you will find a broad selection of amenities and facilities to meet the needs of travelers. The airport is one of the largest in Mexico and is made up of two passenger terminals. As well as plenty of restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets, passengers at the airport can enjoy duty-free shopping alongside other travel shops to pick up any essentials. Once your flight has arrived at the airport, the most convenient way to travel to your destination is to hop in a taxi outside of either terminal. You will find several car rental agencies at Acapulco Airport available, so it is straightforward to rent a vehicle once you have arrived.

As a UAE national traveling to Mexico, you will need to apply for a visa so be sure to get this done with plenty of time to spare before your journey. In Acapulco temperatures remain relatively stable over the course of the year with average highs from 30 to 32 degrees. There is a rainy season in the region beginning in June and continuing until October, while the rest of the year is very dry.
