Arriving In Mexico

If you are looking to travel to Mexico from the UAE, it will not be possible to make the journey directly as there are no airlines providing direct flights to any airports in the country from the UAE. The busiest airport in Mexico is Mexico City International Airport which is situated less than 10 km from Mexico City.

One of the easiest options for travelers to reach Mexico is to transfer at Madrid Airport from the UAE, although there are also other alternatives available involving just a single stopover. If you are traveling to Mexico City, when you arrive you can travel from the airport into the city by public transport as there are buses and metro services available.

Alternatively, Cancun International Airport is the second busiest airport in Mexico situated less than 20 km from central Cancun. When you have arrived at the airport you can find public buses to travel into the city, although there are metered taxis available if you would rather reach your destination directly. Mexico Travel Information

UAE nationals wishing to travel to Mexico will have to apply for a visa first before making the journey. The climate can vary considerably in Mexico depending on where you visit, although in general the country remains relatively warm for the majority of the year. For example, in Cancun you can expect average highs of around 34 degrees between May and September, while in Mexico City temperatures are a lot cooler with average highs in the mid-20s for most of the year.
