Arriving In Isfahan
Isfahan International Airport is situated around 25 km from the center of Isfahan and handles a range of domestic and regional flights including direct flights from the UAE. Travelers looking to fly from the UAE to Isfahan will be able to make the trip out of Dubai or Sharjah. If you are based in Dubai you can fly to Isfahan with flydubai, Iran Air, Karun Airlines and Qeshm Airlines, with all flights leaving from Dubai International Airport. In addition to this, you can also catch flights with Air Arabia out of Sharjah International Airport.
At Isfahan International Airport there are two passenger terminals, one dedicated to domestic flights and another for international flights. Inside the airport itself you’ll find a basic range of amenities and services including a couple of places to eat and drink. When you have arrived at the airport, the most convenient way to travel into the city is to hop in a taxi. Be sure to find a taxi fitted with a meter so that you get a fair price.

UAE nationals flying to Iran will be able to get a visa upon arrival, so there’s no need to worry about making any arrangements beforehand. The weather in Isfahan can get fairly hot during the summer with average highs of around 35 degrees between June and August. However, be advised that the weather gets very cold during the winter and snowfall isn’t uncommon, so be sure to pack plenty of warm clothing with you.
