Arriving In Palermo
Palermo Airport, also known as Falcone-Borsellino Airport, is located around 35 km from the city of Palermo and ranks as the second busiest airport on the island of Sicily. When you have landed at the airport there are a few options available to travel into the city including by bus or train as well as taxis. Inside the airport you will find a few basic amenities and services to meet your needs including a couple of cafés as well as duty-free shopping and complimentary Wi-Fi.
If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Palermo you will not be able to make the journey nonstop as there are no airlines providing direct flights. However, there are a number of connections to leading airports around Europe, although be advised that many flights to and from Palermo are on a seasonal basis.
