Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is comprised of three passenger terminals each offering a wide selection of amenities and services for travelers to enjoy. You can find many of the world’s leading designer and luxury brands at the airport alongside extensive duty free shopping and other general shops for all your basics. If you want something to eat or drink before flying out, the airport is home to a large number of eateries, cafes and restaurants with everything from gourmet cuisine to cheap eats available. Upon landing at Dubai International Airport the quickest way to reach central Dubai is on the Dubai Metro network from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, or you can find taxis available outside all terminals. Emirates flights direct from Peshawar land at Terminal 3.
Airport Information - Departing
Bacha Khan International Airport is the main airport serving Peshawar and the fourth busiest in Pakistan. A single terminal airport, you will find a decent range of amenities and facilities to ensure you can get all the basics you would need. As well as a restaurant on-site, the airport also offers a few snack bars and food outlets if you want to grab something to eat before flying out. You can also stay connected to the internet at the airport with free Wi-Fi available throughout. Public transport links with the airport are rather limited so you are best off getting a taxi to the airport.
What to Expect in Dubai
There are plenty of great hotels in Dubai across all price ranges. In Dubai the weather is hot all year round with temperatures exceeding those of Peshawar. If you want to visit when the climate is at its coolest then the best period is between November and March, while rainfall is minimal throughout the year. Although the UAE permits nationals from many countries to enter without a visa or get one upon arrival, nationals from Pakistan will have to arrange a visa in advance before traveling.
