Shirdi Airport is situated around 15 km from Shirdi and is a relatively new airport having first commenced operations in 2017. There are currently several flights provided at the airport to and from domestic destinations around India, but the airport does not currently handle any international flights. While travelers will not be able to fly from the UAE to Shirdi nonstop, there are plenty of options available which would involve only a single transfer. The airport itself is fairly small and offers only a limited range of amenities and facilities, so be sure to bring any essentials you need with you.
Arriving in Shirdi
When you have landed at Shirdi Airport you will be able to take a taxi to reach your destination. Flag down a taxi outside of the terminal or visit a counter in the arrivals hall to pay for your journey before setting off. Public transport links at the airport are lacking so you will need to make your own way to your destination by taxi or private transfer. It is worth getting in touch with your hotel before you catch your flight as many will offer their own transport services.
