Arriving In Sharjah

Sharjah International Airport is situated around 15 km outside of the city of Sharjah and consists of a single passenger terminal. Once you have touched down in Sharjah you can travel into the city using the airport bus, although there are plenty of taxis available just outside the terminal if you would prefer. Inside the airport there are a decent range of amenities available to ensure your needs are met – as well as a broad selection of dining and drinking choices around the food court area, you can find duty free shopping and benefit from free Wi-Fi during your stay.

Given the close proximity of Sharjah to the other emirates in the UAE, there are no airlines providing flights from anywhere in the UAE to Sharjah. If you need to get to the airport you can make the trip by road – those coming from Dubai are only 15 km away from Sharjah International Airport so you can quickly make the journey. From Sharjah you are also less than a 2 hour drive away from Abu Dhabi, so you can easily fit in a day trip.
