In Sydney the main international airport is Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport, located just 9km outside of the city. If you are traveling from Amsterdam to Sydney there are not currently any direct flights available, but you can make the journey indirectly with a stopover or two.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the primary airport in Amsterdam located only 9km from the city which makes a taxi trip very affordable. However, the fastest way to reach the airport is by train which takes you directly to the airport’s train station from Amsterdam in just 20 minutes. There is a large selection of shops available at the airport with everything from duty-free shopping to fashion and retail stores, while you will also find plenty of eateries, cafes and restaurants to dine at before flying out. You can also enjoy internet connectivity with free Wi-Fi available for up to 4 hours or use internet kiosks in the airport to get online.

What to Expect in Sydney
