Reaching the airport is possible by public bus from Dubai if you would rather not take a taxi or drive yourself. Options at the airport are currently quite limited compared to Dubai International Airport, but you can still find all of the essentials including plenty of cafés and eateries as well as retail and duty-free shopping. Erkilet International Airport is situated 5 km from Kayseri and handles a range of flights mostly to and from European destinations. There is a bus service available which can take you from the city center to the airport if you don’t want to drive yourself or take a taxi. The airport itself is fairly small but still provides all of the essentials you would need including a couple of cafés and restaurants as well as essential travel shops to pick up any last-minute things.
