Once you have touched down at the airport you can make your way into central Madrid on the Metro Line 8 or by public bus, while taxis are also available if you would prefer and car rental is available. While you are waiting for flights at the airport you can look forward to a huge range of shops including duty-free shopping, while there are also many restaurants and cafes available to grab a bite to eat. Travelers at the airport can also stay connected with free Wi-Fi or wait for flights in luxury in an airport lounge.

Airport Information - Departing

Berlin Tegel Airport is Berlin’s main international airport located around 8km from central Berlin. The airport is comprised of five passenger terminals and is linked to the city of Berlin by public bus if you want to avoid taking a taxi. The airport is set to be replaced by the newer Berlin Brandenburg Airport in the near future once construction work is completed. At the airport you will find all of the amenities you would need including duty free shopping and a variety of dining and drinking spots.

Berlin Schonefeld Airport is Berlin’s second airport primarily operating flights across Europe. The airport’s four passenger terminals offer everything you would expect including shops, restaurants and cafes so you won’t be short on things to do. If you don’t want to take a taxi or drive you can get to the airport from Berlin on the S-Bahn network or by local train.
