Airport Information - Arriving

Boryspil International Airport is Kiev’s primary airport situated less than 30 km from the city center. The airport is comprised of two main passenger terminals including the recently refurbished Terminal F. When you have arrived at the airport you will find taxis readily available outside of your terminal, or alternatively you can catch the 24-hour bus service into Kiev. Car rental is also an option to explore the country. Dubai International Airport is Dubai’s primary airport made up of three passenger terminals. You can travel to the airport on the Dubai metro network which runs to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, or alternatively you can catch a local bus. There are an endless range of things to do at the airport to help pass the time - explore the world-class designer shops and duty-free goods or enjoy a meal at a restaurant/fast food outlet. Other amenities on offer include free Wi-Fi connectivity, rest zones with sleeping pods and even indoor gardens. The airport is also home to several luxurious airport lounges where you can pay a fee on the door or enter with a loyalty membership.

What to Expect in Kiev

There are plenty of hotels in Kiev catering for every budget. UAE nationals traveling to the Ukraine will be able to get a visa upon arrival which permits stays of up to 15 days. While the weather in Kiev is nice and warm during the summer when average highs reach around 25 degrees in July and August, temperatures drop below freezing and snowfall is thick and frequent over the winter period so be sure to pack appropriately. The local time zone in Ukraine is just one hour behind the UAE, while the currency used in the country is the Ukrainian hryvnia.
