Cheap Flights from Dubai to Lagos

The primary international gateway to Lagos is Murtala Muhammed International Airport which is located around 15 km from the center of Lagos. Emirates offers the only direct flight from Dubai to Lagos via Dubai International Airport and not Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai’s other international airport.

Airport Information - Arriving

Murtala Muhammed International Airport has two passenger terminals and offers all the amenities and facilities you would need for a pleasant stay. You can find duty-free shopping available in the international section to pick up some cheap goods, while there are also a number of places to eat and drink throughout the airport. If you would prefer to wait for flights somewhere more exclusive then the airport boasts a number of airport lounges. Be advised that the International Terminal and the Domestic Terminal are situated many kilometers away from one another so be prepared to hop in a taxi if you have to transfer between flights. Car rental is available at the airport, if you want your own vehicle for your vacation.

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s finest airports known for its large number of stores, restaurants and bars. The airport itself is made up of three passenger terminals which you can easily transfer between. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are both connected to the Dubai Metro so you can quickly get to the airport from central Dubai, but you will need to then use the free shuttle bus provided to reach Terminal 2. At the airport you can enjoy an extensive selection of places to eat and drink whilst waiting for your flight with everything from world-class restaurants to cheap eateries available. You will also find many leading designer stores and luxury brands alongside extensive duty-free shopping to pick up some goods before you fly out.

In Lagos the weather stays hot all year round with the coolest period falling between July and September. Be advised that the region experiences a significant rainy season between April and October which is at its height in June and July so make sure you are prepared for the rain.
