Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport are the two international airport serving Bangkok. If you are looking to fly from Madrid to Bangkok there are not currently any direct flights available, although new routes may open up in the future.

Airport Information - Arriving
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport is the primary airport serving Bangkok and also Thailand’s busiest. Once your flight has touched down at the airport you can quickly travel into the center of Bangkok on the Airport Rail Link which takes around 25 minutes, although taxis are available if you would rather travel directly to your destination. While you are at the airport you will be able to enjoy plenty of amenities such as duty-free shopping, restaurants and cafes, while travelers can also benefit from free Wi-Fi for up to two hours at a time.
Don Mueang International Airport is Bangkok’s other international airport which benefited from a significant renovation project in 2007 to upgrade it to modern standards. You can travel to the airport from central Bangkok by train, while there is also a complimentary shuttle bus available that can take you to and from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airport offers all of the amenities and services you would need so you can enjoy a meal before flying out or pick up some last-minute gifts and souvenirs.
Airport Information - Departing
Madrid Airport is Spain’s busiest airport situated around 10km from the capital, Madrid. The airport is home to four passenger terminals and can be reached from the center of Madrid by bus or on the Metro (Line 8). You can also travel to your terminal of departure easily as all of the terminals at the airport are linked together by a shuttle bus. As a large and modern airport, you can expect to find everything you would possibly need for an enjoyable stay such as duty-free shopping, designer shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes. You can also stay connected with free unlimited Wi-Fi or spend your time waiting in a luxurious airport lounge.
What to Expect in Bangkok
In Bangkok the weather stays consistently throughout the year, although be advised that the region experiences two rainy seasons in May and between September and October. Many nationals including Spanish citizens and UAE nationals are entitled to travel to Thailand without needing a visa. Once you are in Bangkok there are plenty of public transport networks to help you get around and explore the city, although you can also find car rental companies at the airport if you want your own vehicle.
