Travelers looking to fly from Moscow to Kiev will need to make a stopover during the journey as no airlines offer direct flights between the two cities. All three of Moscow’s airport offer single-stopover journeys to Kiev - Domodedovo International Airport, Sheremetyevo International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport.

Airport Information - Arriving
Boryspil International Airport is home to two terminals and offers plenty of services and facilities for passengers to enjoy. When you have arrived at the airport, the easiest way to travel into Kiev is on the 24-hour Sky Bus service which can also take you between terminals if you need to transfer. Car rental in Kiev is also an option. Inside the airport there are various places to eat and drink as well as retail shops and duty-free shopping, so you won’t be bored while you wait for your flight. You can also enjoy free Wi-Fi for up to 30 minutes or log in to an internet kiosk to access the internet.
Airport Information - Departing
Sheremetyevo International Airport is Moscow’s busiest airport situated roughly 30 km outside of the city. Getting to the airport from Moscow is easy by hopping on the Aeroexpress train service, although there are other alternatives available. The airport itself is home to a wide choice of shops, cafés and restaurants and you can also benefit from free Wi-Fi during your stay. There are four passenger terminals at the airport which are all linked together by a shuttle bus if you need to switch.
Domodedovo International Airport is home to a single terminal and is also connected to the Aeroexpress train network so you can easily get there from central Moscow. Everything you would expect of a modern airport can be found including various cafés and eateries as well as duty-free shopping. The airport also provides travelers with free Wi-Fi so you can browse the web while you wait for your flight to be called.
Vnukovo International Airport is Moscow’s third airport comprised of three passenger terminals. All of the basic facilities you would need are available inside the airport including essential travel shops and a couple of cafés and eateries. You can also connect to free Wi-Fi for up to 15 minutes and purchase additional time if need be.
What to Expect in Kiev
In Kiev the winters are almost as cold as they are in Moscow with temperatures regularly dropping below freezing and snowfall is common. However, you can expect warm temperatures during the summer with highs of around 25 degrees in July and August. Many nationals including those from Russia are able to travel to Kiev on a visa free basis, while UAE nationals are able to obtain a visa upon arrival which is valid for up to 15 days.
