The only international airport serving Grenada is Maurice Bishop International Airport which is located around 8 km away from St George’s. The airport is small but offers all of the essential amenities and services you would need including a cafe and snack bar on site in addition to duty-free shopping, while the airport also provides travelers with free Wi-Fi so it is easy to get online.
If you are looking to book flights from the UAE to Grenada it will not be possible to make the journey directly as there are no airlines providing direct flights from the UAE. UAE nationals flying to Grenada will be able to enter the country without a visa for a period of up to three months at a time. In Grenada the weather is warm all year round with average highs between 28 to 30 degrees, although there is a distinct dry season from January to May and a rainy season for the rest of the calendar. Be advised that Grenada is eight hours behind the UAE and the local currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, although you may also be able to get by in some establishments using US dollars.
