Haikou Meilan International Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights. In Haikou you can expect warm weather during the summer with average highs of around 32 degrees from May until August, while it still stays fairly mild even over the winter period. However, there is a lengthy rainy season in the region which begins in May and continues until October, with much drier weather over the winter. Don’t forget to put your clocks forward by four hours to get on local time in Haikou.
