Inverness Airport is situated just over 10 km outside of the city and primarily handles regional flights. When you have touched down at the airport you can find buses which can take you into the city, although you may prefer the convenience and directness of a taxi.

If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Inverness, you will not be able to make the journey directly from the UAE. However, Inverness Airport has regular flights from a few airports handling direct routes from the UAE including London Heathrow and Amsterdam, so you can conveniently make the journey with just a single transfer.
