Francisco Bangoy International Airport is comprised of a single passenger terminal and ranks as the Philippines’ third busiest airport. The airport is situated around 30 km from Davao City, with a taxi ride taking around 45 minutes with normal traffic. While taxis are readily available outside of the terminal building, there are also local jeepney services which are often cheaper. The amenities at the airport are good with plenty of duty-free and travel stores open alongside cafés, fast food chains and restaurants for hungry passengers.

Abu Dhabi International Airport is located 30 km from the city center of Abu Dhabi and ranks as the second busiest airport in the UAE. If you won’t be taking a taxi to the airport you can use the bus service from the city, while vehicle owners will find extensive short- and long-term parking. The facilities and amenities at the airport are excellent so you’ll have plenty to do while you wait for your flight to be called. Shopping enthusiasts can explore the world-class duty-free and designer outlets, or if you fancy a quick bite to eat there are several restaurants and eateries to select from. Other facilities available at the airport include luxurious lounges, rest zones and free Wi-Fi access.
What to Expect in Davao
Temperatures stay warm all year round with average highs of 31 to 33 degrees, while the humidity levels tend to be quite high so it can feel hotter. It also rains frequently throughout the year so you are advised to bring a raincoat or umbrella with you.
