Abu Dhabi International Airport is located 30 km from the city center of Abu Dhabi and ranks as the second busiest airport in the UAE. If you won’t be taking a taxi to the airport you can use the bus service from the city, while vehicle owners will find extensive short- and long-term parking. The facilities and amenities at the airport are excellent so you’ll have plenty to do while you wait for your flight to be called. Shopping enthusiasts can explore the world-class duty-free and designer outlets, or if you fancy a quick bite to eat there are several restaurants and eateries to select from. Other facilities available at the airport include luxurious lounges, rest zones and free Wi-Fi access.

What to Expect in Davao

Temperatures stay warm all year round with average highs of 31 to 33 degrees, while the humidity levels tend to be quite high so it can feel hotter. It also rains frequently throughout the year so you are advised to bring a raincoat or umbrella with you. The currency you will need during your visit to the Philippines is the Philippine peso, while the general cost of living in Davao is usually much cheaper than Abu Dhabi for things like dining, transportation and hotels.
