Milan is home to three airports: Milan-Malpensat, Milan Linate and Milan Bergamo. The primary gateway to the city is Milan-Malpensa Airport, serving over 18 million passengers a year. Milan-Malpensa Airport, formerly known as City of Busto Arsizio Airport, is Italy’s busiest airport and has two passenger terminals. Accessing the two terminals from the center of Milan can be achieved by public transport buses or private shuttle bus services as well as the railway line going to the new train station at Terminal 2.
