Dubai International Airport is the main airport serving Dubai, situated only 5 km from the city center. The airport is made up of three passenger terminals, with flydubai flights arriving at Terminal 2 and Ukraine International Airlines flights landing at Terminal 1. Taxis are readily available outside of all passenger terminals and you can also access the Dubai Metro or catch a bus to travel into the city. Alternatively, the airport boasts several international car rental agencies if you need your own vehicle. While you wait for your flight at the airport you can look forward to a fantastic range of services. Explore the many different luxury and retail stores or do some duty-free shopping, while you can also enjoy a meal/drink at a wide variety of restaurants, fast food chains and cafés. Other amenities provided at the airport include free Wi-Fi access, several airport lounges and rest zones.

Airport Information - Departing

Boryspil International Airport is the busiest airport in Kiev, situated less than 30 km from the city. The airport consists of two main passenger terminals and offers a decent range of facilities and services for travelers. There is a 24-hour airport bus which can take you from the city to the airport if you don’t want to pay for a taxi or drive yourself. You’ll find a range of duty-free and retail shops on offer as well as plenty of eateries and cafés to select from. The airport also offers free Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 30 minutes.

What to Expect in Dubai

There are a wide variety of hotels in Dubai so you're sure to find something that suits your needs. Ukrainian nationals traveling to the UAE will be able to enter the country visa free for up to 30 days. However, this policy currently applies to those with biometric passport only. In Dubai the weather is much hotter than Kiev across the year with average highs exceeding 40 degrees in the summer. Prices in Dubai tend to be much more expensive than Kiev for most things. The UAE is just one hour ahead of the Ukraine and the currency used in the country is the United Arab Emirates dirham.
