Airport Information - Arriving

Pokhara Airport is located just 5 km from the center of Pokhara and handles a range of domestic flights across Nepal. The airport itself is very small and is set within a single passenger terminal. However, the airport is set to be rebranded as an international airport in the future and a brand-new passenger terminal is currently under construction. You will find very little at the airport in terms of amenities and facilities, so be sure to bring everything essential with you. The easiest way to travel from the airport to your destination is to hop in a taxi, or better yet you can prearrange private transportation if you are traveling somewhere more remote. If you do get in a taxi, be sure to agree upon a fare with your driver before setting off as taxis are not fitted with meters.

Airport Information - Departing

The airport is made up of an international terminal and a domestic terminal and offers all of the basic facilities you would need for an enjoyable experience. In the international terminal you can do some duty-free shopping, while there are also a couple of restaurants and cafés. Free Wi-Fi is available at the airport for up to 90 minutes per session. There is also an executive lounge in the international terminal if you want somewhere more luxurious to wait for your flight.
