Once you have landed at the airport, the quickest way into the city is on the Dubai Metro which is linked to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, or you may consider flagging down a taxi outside any terminal to reach your destination directly. Emirates fly to and from Terminal 3.

Washington Dulles International Airport is the main airport in Washington situated around 40km (25 miles) from the city. The airport is comprised of a single passenger terminal and is home to a wide variety of amenities and services to keep you happy. In addition to its varied selection of shops offering everything you would need, the airport also offers many places to grab a bite to eat or a coffee while you wait to board your flight. If you aren’t going to drive or take a taxi you can find a number of bus services that can take you from Washington to the airport.
What to Expect in Dubai
In Dubai you can expect the weather to be hot no matter when you visit and temperatures are much higher compared to Washington. The cooler months are between November and March. You do not need to arrange a visa before flying as a US national as you are able to obtain a visa upon arrival. Once you are in Dubai you can navigate through the city on the Dubai Metro, although if you would prefer you can find numerous car rental companies at the airport.
