Currently the only airline operating flights on this route is Emirates, the flag carrier of Dubai, with all flights departing from Dubai International Airport.

Nationals from the UAE will need to arrange a visa first before traveling to Ghana. In Accra you can expect warm weather throughout the year, although there is a rainy season which begins in May and ends in July. If you want to visit when the weather is at its coolest then sometime between June and September would be ideal. Remember that Accra is four hours behind the UAE so don’t forget to change your clocks to local time, while the currency in the country is the Ghanaian cedi.
