Bulawayo Airport, known in full as Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport, is the main airport serving Bulawayo located around 20 km from the city. Travelers looking to fly from the UAE to Bulawayo will not be able to make the journey directly, but fortunately the airport handles regular flights from Johannesburg and Harare which enables UAE-based travelers to reach Bulawayo with only a single stopover.
Bulawayo Airport is a fairly small airport consisting of just a single terminal, with little available in terms of facilities and amenities so you should come prepared with any essential items you need. When your flight has arrived at the airport there are taxis available just outside of the terminal building, while there are also a couple of car rental agencies available on site for those looking for a vehicle.
