Arriving In Cuzco
Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport is the second busiest airport in Peru located near the city of Cuzco. If you are looking to make the trip from the UAE to Cuzco you will be able to find any direct flights, so it will be necessary to make a transfer somewhere in order to complete the journey. The airport only has regional connections so it may be necessary to make a couple of stopovers in order to get to Cuzco from the UAE.
Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport is set within a single passenger terminal and offers a basic range of amenities and facilities to keep travelers happy. As well as a couple of places to eat and drink on site, you can find duty-free shopping and a few designer stores to help pass the time. When you have arrived in the country the most convenient way to make the short trip into the city is by taxi, although those who are on a tight budget can catch a public bus just across the street from the airport.

UAE nationals traveling to Peru will need to make a visa application first before making the trip. In Cuzco temperatures remain relatively stable over the course of the year with average highs of between 18 to 20 degrees. There is a period of increased rainfall in the region beginning in November and continuing until March, so you may want to visit sometime between April and October when rainfall is much less frequent. In Peru the currency you will need is the Peruvian sol, while the country is a considerable nine hours behind the UAE.
