Arriving In Graz

Graz Airport is located less than 10 km away from the city center of Graz and is housed within a single terminal building. There are a few ways to reach the city from the airport once you have landed including by bus or train, although you can also hail down a taxi if you want to get to your destination directly. Inside the airport you will find all of the essential amenities you would need including a couple of cafés and eateries as well as duty-free shopping. In addition to this, there is a dedicated children’s play area for the kids, an on-site art gallery and unlimited free Wi-Fi for travelers.

If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Graz, there are no direct flights available from anywhere in the UAE so you will have to make a transfer. Thankfully the airport has regular flights from a number of airports with direct connections to the UAE such as Frankfurt and Amsterdam, so it is easy to make the journey with only one stopover.

In Graz you can expect subzero temperatures and plenty of snowfall if you are visiting during the winter, although temperatures warm up over the summer with average highs in the mid-20s between June and August.
