Granada Airport, known in full as Federico Garcia Lorca Granada-Jaen Airport, is located around 15 km from Granada and handles a selection of flights from around Europe. When you have arrived at the airport there are bus services available to travel into the city if you would rather not pay for a taxi. Inside the airport you will find all of the essential amenities you would expect including a couple of cafés and eateries as well as duty-free shopping, while you can also connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network to access the web.

If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Granada you won’t be able to fly directly as there are no airlines providing nonstop flights. However, the airport has connections to a few airports with direct flights from the UAE including Madrid Airport and Milan so it is possible to travel from the UAE with only one transfer.

In Granada the weather gets pleasantly hot over the summer with average highs of around 34 degrees, while temperatures remain relatively mild over the winter months so you shouldn’t expect cold weather.
