Why You Should Visit Bhubaneswar
The city of Bhubaneswar is one of India’s lesser-known gems home to a whole host of ancient architecture and religious monuments, making it the ideal sightseeing destination. Spend your days in the city exploring some of its more stunning landmarks like the beautiful Lingaraj Temple and the Mukteshvara Temple. You can start your trip off in the Old Town which itself boasts almost 400 different temples alone. Besides its heritage sites there are plenty of other top attractions in and around the city such as the Nandankanan Zoo and the Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves less than 10 km from the city. Set aside at least a day to enjoy the buzz and vibrancy of the city along the market stalls of Unit 1 and Unit 2 and pick up some local handicrafts as souvenirs.
