Reasons To Visit Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the largest mountain in Africa and one of the world’s premier tourism destinations. Situated in northern Tanzania close to the Kenyan border, the mountain towers over the landscape at over 19,000 feet. The mountain is particularly popular as a hiking and mountaineering destination as it is much easier to ascend compared to other famous mountains, so adventurers of all experience levels will be able to take part in a climb. Although many come to the region to actually ascend the mountain, there are plenty of other things to do including checking out the many beautiful waterfalls or doing some wildlife watching, so you don’t have to take part in a grueling hike if you would rather have a relaxing trip.
