Ajmer Airport, known also as Kishangarh Airport, is situated less than 30 km from Ajmer and is a relatively new airport having opened up in October 2017. The airport currently handles just a small range of domestic flights with SpiceJet. Read our guide to finding great flight deals to India. The airport is set within a single passenger terminal which has the capacity for up to 150 passengers. The building itself is interesting and contains many beautiful paintings and other works of art to keep yourself occupied as you wait for your flight. Although the airport is relatively small you will still find all of the essential amenities and facilities you would need including a couple of snack bars and cafés.
When you have touched down at the airport, you can find taxis available just outside of the terminal to take you to your destination. Alternatively, get in touch with your hotel or accommodation to prearrange a private transfer. Public transport is fairly limited but you can still access local and interstate bus services from the airport.
