How to Check In

Spicejet offers online check in, allowing you to print your boarding pass an, select your seats (you’ll need to pay for a specific one) however there is no option to check in baggage when using online check in. You can use this method from 24 hours and up to 4 hours before scheduled departure. Alternatively you can check in at the airport from two hours and up to 30 minutes before departure. There is no charge for printing your boarding pass.

Baggage Allowance and Fees

Each passenger is allowed to have hand luggage consisting of one bag and one small personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. All cabin luggage must fit in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front of you. The maximum weight is 10kg. Checked baggage must not exceed 20 kg. If it does, excess baggage fees of Rs.80 per kg will apply.


You can leave seating to be allocated for you by the airline, which is free of charge. If you want to specify a particular seat you will have to pay a small fee.

Booking Fees

Spicejet charges a booking fee of INR 150 for bookings paid for by debit and credit card. As a low cost carrier, all refreshments provided on board are available for purchase only.
