Arriving In Lima
Jorge Chavez International Airport is located around 10 km away from the capital Lima and is set within a single passenger terminal. If you would rather not take a taxi into the city once you have arrived, there are bus services available in order to make the journey. Inside the airport you will find a decent range of cafés and eateries in addition to retail and duty-free shopping, while the airport also provides free Wi-Fi for up to 15 minutes at a time.
If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Lima you will not be able to make the journey directly as no carriers provide nonstop flights. However, Jorge Chavez International Airport has regular flights from a number of airports with direct connections to the UAE including Paris Charles de Gaulle, Madrid Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, so it is possible to make the trip with just a single transfer.
Lima Travel Information
UAE nationals traveling to Peru will have to arrange a visa before flying in order to enter the country. In Lima the hottest time of year is between January and March which experiences average highs of around 26 degrees, while the weather remains relatively mild for the rest of the year. Lima is served by an extensive network of buses and even has its own metro network, while you can find a few car rental agencies at Lima airport to get your own vehicle.
