The city of Perm is located along the famous Trans-Siberian railway and is home to a number of fascinating attractions with its many museums, cultural events and markets sure to keep you engrossed during your stay. Visit a tourist information office and get a copy of the Green & Red Lines which allow you to walk around the city on your own and see all of the interesting landmarks and monuments around. Perm International Airport is located around 15 km away from the city of Perm and primarily handles regional flights as well as a few seasonal flights including from the UAE. If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Perm, you will be able to make the journey out of Dubai. Azur Air and Royal Flight both provide flights out of Dubai International Airport, although be advised that both airlines operate flights on a seasonal charter basis only.

Perm International Airport is set within a single terminal and offers a decent array of amenities and facilities to keep travelers happy. At the airport you will find duty-free shopping available alongside a few other basic travel shops, while the airport is also home to a couple of cafés and eateries to grab a bite to eat. When your flight has touched down at the airport, you can find public buses available to travel into the city if you would rather not shell out on a private taxi for yourself.

As a UAE national traveling to Russia, you’ll be required to apply for a visa first before making the trip. Perm gets extremely cold during the winter period with freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall on almost a daily basis, while over the summer you can expect average highs in the low 20s between June and August as things heat up. Be advised that you will need Russian rubles to spend in the country, while Perm is just one hour ahead of the UAE.
