Qingdao Liuting International Airport is located around 30 km from the city of Qingdao and handles a wide range of domestic and international flights. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Qingdao you will not find any direct flights available, but the airport has excellent connections so it is straightforward to fly from the UAE to Qingdao with only a single transfer.
Qingdao Liuting International Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals, with one terminal reserved for international flights. Inside the airport you will find a wide range of amenities and facilities, so there are many things to do to pass the time. Alongside a diverse selection of restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets, there are plenty of shops on site in addition to duty-free shopping so you’re sure to find everything you would need. Getting from the airport into the city is possible by public transport with a number of public bus routes available, although you may prefer to hop in a taxi instead if you are unfamiliar with local transport.

In Qingdao the weather gets pleasantly warm during the summer with average highs in the high 20s between July and September, although temperatures soon drop below freezing over the winter so make sure you pack appropriately. Remember to put your clocks four hours ahead if you are visiting Qingdao from the UAE to get on local time.
