Lisbon Airport, also known as Lisbon Portela Airport, is the main airport in Portugal located only 7 km outside of Lisbon city center. Travelers looking to fly from Aberdeen to Lisbon will need to make a stopover in order to complete the journey as there are no carriers offering direct flights, but you can make a stopover at destinations including Manchester, Paris and Amsterdam.

Airport Information - Arriving

Lisbon Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals which you can travel between on the free shuttle bus provided by the airport. Once your flight has touched down there are numerous ways that you can journey into the center of Lisbon including on the metro or by bus, while taxis are also available and affordable given the short distance between the airport and the city. If you're planning to explore more of Portugal, there are numerous car rental companies in Lisbon. You can find all of the amenities and services you would need at the airport including free Wi-Fi, a wide range of retail and duty-free shops as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants.

Airport Information - Departing

Aberdeen International Airport is located under 10 km from the center of Aberdeen and is home to a single passenger terminal. If you would rather not pay for a taxi to the airport then you can hop on a bus or drive yourself as the airport offers plenty of parking spaces. Once you have arrived at the airport you will find everything you would need for a pleasant stay including duty-free shopping and some retail stores. If you are hungry you can also choose from one of the cafés and eateries available to satisfy your appetite. What to Expect in Lisbon
