O. R. Tambo International Airport is comprised of 6 different terminals that are closely connected to one another, so you don’t have a lengthy journey on your hands if you are transferring between flights. At the airport you can find all of the amenities and facilities you would expect including numerous places to eat and drink and many shops to browse through. The airport is located just over 20km from the center of Johannesburg so the journey into the city won’t take long. Getting from the airport into Johannesburg is possible on the Gautrain rail network, or you can just as easily hop in a taxi to make it your destination directly.

Flights to Johannesburg from Dubai currently depart from Dubai International Airport, the country’s busiest airport and also the world’s busiest in terms of international passenger traffic. Dubai International Airport is home to a vast range of shops, restaurants and cafes so you won’t be short on places to shop or dine. The airport also boasts extensive duty free shopping alongside many luxury brands and designer shops.
Dubai International Airport is comprised of three passenger terminals - Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Getting to and from each terminal is relatively simple as Terminals 1 and 3 are part of the Dubai Metro network, although you will need to use the free shuttle bus service to get to Terminal 2.
