There are two airlines providing direct flights from Dubai to Lucknow – flydubai and Air India Express via Dubai International Airport. Passengers flying back to Dubai will depart from Terminal 1, the international terminal at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport was constructed in 1986 and currently has two passenger terminals, with a third terminal planned to significantly increase the airport’s capacity. Terminal 1 was once the only terminal at the airport and now operates international flights after the opening of Terminal 2 in 2012, used exclusively for domestic flights.
In the Departures area of Terminal 1 there is a snack bar available for those looking for refreshments before boarding, while the airport offers duty free shopping in both the Arrivals and Departures areas of Terminal 1 for those looking to pick up some cheap duty free goods.

All direct flights to Lucknow from Dubai leave Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s finest airports with three different terminals. Both flydubai and Air India Express flights depart from Terminal 2. This terminal is not connected to the Dubai metro but the airport provides a complimentary shuttle bus from the other terminals. At Dubai International Airport there are a variety of world-class shops, restaurants and other amenities available to passengers in each terminal.
What to Expect in Lucknow
Lucknow is 1.5 hours ahead of Dubai, so be sure to alter your clock to reflect this. Much like Dubai, the weather in Lucknow remains warm all year round, although its peak hot months come at a slightly earlier period of the year between April and June. Rainfall gradually increases at the beginning of June with the onset of the rainy season between July and September.
