Lucknow's airport is Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, India's 12th busiest airport. There are two airlines providing direct flights from Dubai to Lucknow – flydubai and Air India Express via Dubai International Airport. Passengers flying back to Dubai will depart from Terminal 1, the international terminal at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport was constructed in 1986 and currently has two passenger terminals, with a third terminal planned to significantly increase the airport’s capacity.
