Terminal 2 is the newest addition to the airport having been inaugurated in 2003, while the older Terminal 1 is set to benefit from an extensive development and expansion project. Getting between terminals can be achieved quickly on the inter-terminal shuttle bus service, or you can opt to go on foot through the Munich Airport Center. Once you’ve landed in Munich there are a number of ways to reach the center of the city including public transport on the S-Bahn line.
