Porto Airport is located around within a single terminal complex 10 km from central Porto and is Portugal’s second busiest airport. Although Porto is served by a good public transport network, there are several car rental companies available at the airport if you want your own vehicle to explore the city and surrounding area. You can browse through many retail and travel shops or do some duty-free shopping during your stay, while you won’t go hungry with the variety of dining and drinking establishments available. The airport also provides travelers with complimentary Wi-Fi access so you can get online.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is the primary airport serving Dubai and is comprised of three passenger terminals. The airport is located just 5 km from central Dubai and is linked to the city on the local metro and by public bus if you don’t want to take a taxi to the airport. You’ll also find extensive short- and long-term parking on site if you choose to drive yourself. While you wait for your flight at the airport you can explore the world-class range of designer and duty-free shops or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafés available. Other amenities available at the airport include rest zones equipped with sleeping pods, free Wi-Fi access and numerous airport lounges.
Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport situated approximately 40 km from the city. The airport offers a decent range of options including retail and duty-free shopping alongside plenty of dining and drinking choices, while in the future once the airport is fully constructed there will be far more options available. If you would rather not take a taxi to the airport you can find public bus services from central Dubai.
What to Expect in Porto
