Airport Information - Arriving
Tashkent International Airport is Uzbekistan’s busiest airport and is located just 10 km from the center of Tashkent. The airport consists of two passenger terminals, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. If you are on an international flight you will be based at Terminal 2 which is the larger of the two terminals and offers a more extensive range of facilities and amenities. Be aware that the two terminals are not connected together so you will need to exit the airport in order to transfer between them. You’ll find a good range of facilities and amenities at the airport including several restaurants, cafés and bars as well as duty-free shopping. Free Wi-Fi is also available and there are computer kiosks if you need to access the web.

Dubai International Airport is made up of three passenger terminals and ranks as one of the busiest airports in the world. Located only 5 km away from central Dubai, you can access the airport directly on the Dubai metro network or catch a bus instead. Spend your time at the airport looking through the prestigious designer shops or doing some duty-free shopping. Hungry passengers will be spoilt for choice with the wide range of eateries available serving up everything from world-class cuisine to cheap fast food. You may also want to stay in one of the luxurious airport lounges or enjoy the tranquility of the indoor gardens. What to Expect in Tashkent

UAE nationals traveling to Uzbekistan will be able to get an e-visa as part of the new system introduced by the country. This will allow you to stay for up to 30 days and is priced at around 75 AED, with applications accepted no later than three days before your journey. However, the climate fluctuates significantly depending on the season so if you visit in the winter you can expect freezing temperatures.
